Naughty Dog has released the extended E3 gameplay walkthrough from their upcoming PS4 action adventure title Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. “Our E3 press conference demo literally left Drake hanging and with good cause. We wanted to give attendees of E3 a treat and show them if Sully and Drake ever caught up to Nathan’s brother, Sam, in time. The reaction was pretty fantastic”, said Naughty Dog in a statement. “Now, for everyone not able to see it at the show, for those who missed our Twitch broadcast earlier today, or for those who just want to watch it again and again, here it is.” Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End takes place several years after his last adventure. Now retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be careening into your living room in 2016. SOURCE

Elena needs to dump Drake. Like, seriously, get rid of him, girl.

Jan 28, 2013: (Interview Starts @8:44-ish) Today, Greg talks to the lovely Emily Rose, aka Elena from Uncharted, aka Audrey from Syfy's Haven. Brian Altano also talks about sexism in the video game industry (hoboy) and we try a shameless method to boost our views...that may or may not involve Naomi Kyle. Well...more shameless than normal.

If you know IGN and its Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, you know I love to speculate like a madman when it comes to this game. Developer Naughty Dog gives us tiny tidbits, and I spin them into theories about 450-year-old villainesses and wedding bells. Today, I have a new -- completely unproven -- theory: Elena (Nathan Drake's blonde better half) is pregnant.

Sony and Naughty Dog held an Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception panel today, and during it, the developers showed a cutscene. Actually, if you've seen the latest Uncharted trailer where Elena tells Sully to go get weapons from a rug merchant, this was an extended cut of that. In the extended cut, Sully leaves and Nate and Elena argue about why Nate isn't being completely honest with her. He goes on about the adventure and says "You love all this as much as I do." Elena's response: "No, not anymore."

One of the big bits of Uncharted 3 news to emerge from Sony's E3 Conference last Monday was confirmation that Elena and Chloe - respectively Drake's missus and former bit on the side - are both back for Nate's third round of happy-thwacking and treasure hunting.

But don't get too attached to the brainy blonde or wickedly-curved Aussie, because Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells says he'd have no hesitation in killing off one of the pair - or any other major character - if the storyline called for it.

"We're not dogmatic about anything," he told us when we asked if bumping off one of the lead characters was something Naughty Dog would consider. "If that is what it takes [to advance the storyline] then that's what it takes. And not just for dramatic shock value - it would definitely have to tie into the narrative that [we're] trying to tell and expose an aspect of Drake's character that we would want to delve into."

Wells does confirm is that whether or not they survive to the end of Uncharted 3, the pert pair will be playing a less prominent a role this time.  "We are trying to keep things fresh and draw certain aspects of Nate's personality out as well as the characters he's surrounded with," he explains. "Chloe and Elena are back but they aren't the emphasis of the story the way they were in Uncharted 2. This time round the emphasis is on Victor Sullivan and his mentor/protégé relationship with Drake." [SOURCE]

I wish I could come up with a better descriptive term than "smoother," but that seems to be the most accurate. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception looks incredible from a visual standpoint, as one might expect. But as many have noticed, there has been a technical alteration to the character design and presentation. For example, here's a picture courtesy of GamingBolt. It's Chloe as she looked in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and as she appeared in the E3 trailer for Uncharted 3. There's also a comparison shot of Elena and we've already seen plenty of Drake in past months. In our eyes, it seems plain: they've been "smoothed" over. The thing that's bugging me is this- I really can't decide if it's "better."

I mean, strictly from a technical standpoint, I think it's plain. They've taken another step by cutting back on that glossy, almost plastic-y sheen we've seen in the past. At the same time, it almost seems as if a touch of the rich color and definition from Uncharted 2 went away with that glossiness. It's certainly more realistic and more accomplished; I'm just not sure I like it more. Sorta torn right now. You also get slightly different facial animations with this sleeker style, and in this respect, I haven't seen enough to make any decisions one way or the other. I'm just wondering what the fans have to say about this.

A recent charity video shows the first sign of Drake’s love interest, Elena, since the end of ‘Uncharted 2.’ This might be a sign that we will see her return in ‘Uncharted 3.’

It’s been almost a month since any significant news has broken pertaining to the PS3 trilogy-closing adventure hit, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Despite having already seen some rather extensive footage of the game, there has been no sign of Elena, Nathan Drake’s love interest. It was only a matter of time until she appeared though, and thanks to a charity video for Japan, the first glance at what her character might look like in Uncharted 3 has hit the net.

Although the Uncharted 3 screenshots do not come from in-game footage, the models for Nathan and Sully are identical in the charity video to their models in the game. In other words, chances are very good Elena’s in-game model will match as well. This all depends on if Elena does actually appear in one of our most anticipated games of this year.

Hey all you Uncharted fans out there! Can I get a holler?

*crickets chirping*

Congratulations, Australia, you just broke our hearts and made us suspicious of your taste in games - or possibly, lack of PlayStation 3s. For the six of you nervously raising your hands, you are awesome, and you'll be pleased to know that voice actress Emily Rose, who plays the spirited Elena in both Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves, has let slip something very exciting.

Now that we've lured you through that break we can tell you that we don't know precisely what it is, but we do know it exists, and here's the evidence. Rose, a busy Tweeter, dropped the following bomb yesterday:
