I get the story and see what they were trying to do. Basically this is a story of a man's addiction, how destructive it is to his life and the people he cares about, and the eventual "overcoming". It's a little darker, more humanizing, and... kinda less satisfying.
Nate was more fun when he was a hero doing things to satisfy his thirst for knowledge, adventure, and saving the world. And fun is why most of us played this series, yes?
