G4TV: Uncharted 3 Reveal Coming Next Month?

Word on the digital street is that Naugty Dog plans to unveil Uncharted 3 during Spike TV’s Video Game Awards next month. There’s also a good chance Sony will follow up this reveal with an official coming out party for the much anticipated follow up to one this generation's most acclaimed titles.

Sources close to Kotaku have let slip that some members of the press have already seen Uncharted 3 for themselves. Couple that with the fact that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves debuted at the 2008 VGAs, and there’s a very good chance a similar situation will occur at this year’s awards show.

Sony is also hosting an “Exclusive PlayStation 3 Reveal” the day after the VGAs, which will either be a big showcase for Nathan Drake’s latest adventure, or a reveal for something else entirely. I know it won't be Gran Turismo 6, but I kind of want it to be. Is that wrong?

why do you say it should be the final installment? haven't they pretty much gone on record saying they would make as many Uncharted games as they could? as long as they keep it in house, i doubt the quality of games would go down. Naughty Dog has an excellent track record of maintaining the integrity of their franchises when they keep the IP rights. i have faith in ND.
