Can you believe that it was only a year ago that we dived into Nathan Drake’s third adventure on the PS3? Today Uncharted 3 turns one, and to celebrate Naughty Dog has teamed up with Sideshow Collectibles to produce a new Nathan Drake Premium Format Statue.

Sony announced a second redesign to the PlayStation 3 during its press conference at the Tokyo Game Show Tuesday. The new model will be available in two colors. A “Charcoal Black” version will be available October 4 in Japan, in both 250 gigabyte and 500 gigabyte models. A 250 gigabyte “Classic White” version will be available November 22 in Japan.
The 250 gigabyte model will launch in North America September 25 for $269.99 in a bundle with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception: Game of the Year Edition, and a $30 voucher for Dust 514. The 500 gigabyte model will be available on October 30th for $299. Sony teased a Assassin’s Creed 3 bundle with the 500 gigabyte version, but a release date and price were not included. According to Joystiq, the white model has not been announced for North America. The new system is 50 percent smaller than the original PlayStation 3, and 25 percent smaller and lighter than the current slim model. [SOURCE]

An Uncharted: Golden Abyss-branded carry case headlines Thrustmaster's line of officially-licensed PlayStation Vita accessories unveiled today.Priced at £24.99, the shock-resistant foam-lined box is "specially designed to optimize the PS Vita's wireless functions", includes space for six games and features a dog tag embossed into the lid.
You can also get exactly the same case but with the Uncharted branding replaced by a plain Vita logo for £19.99. Thrustmaster is also offering a VIP Case, priced at £16.99. "Modeled after glasses cases from leading designer brands", it's felt-lined to protect the console's screen and sports an automatic closing mechanism. Set to release on November 1st, 2011, Naughty Dog and Sony will bestow the world with a treasure like no other. Today, it has been officially revealed that Sony and Naughty Dog will offer a Collector’s Edition for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Packed with collectible content that any Uncharted fan will enjoy, this looks to be one of the finer Collector Editions made available in recent years.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Collector’s Edition will retail for $99.99 and contain the following pieces of Uncharted treasure: A Nathan Drake statue, a replica of Nate Drake’s belt buckle, a replica of the Sir Francis Drake ring/necklace, and a steelbook game case.
