UK, June 26, 2009 - Nathan Drake is swinging to the silver screen, with Columbia developing a feature film based on Sony Computer Entertainment and Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
One of the PlayStation 3's early standout titles, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a third person action game with unrivalled charm, mixing Boys Own adventures with Tomb Raider-style exploration in a combination that earned an impressive 8.4 back in 2007.
According to a recent article in The Hollywood Reporter, the film is being penned by Kyle Ward, who is also at work on adaptations of Kane & Lynch and Hitman 2, while Avi Arad -- whose credits include Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk -- is heading up the production.
Nathan Drake is returning to PlayStation 3 later this year in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which was one of the most impressive looking titles at E3.
