Uncharted: Fight for Fortune was only officially revealed this morning, but already the "fanbase" is up in arms and inconsolable at the idea that a spin-off game would dare to actually spin off from something. THE VERY IDEA!
At the time of writing, the Youtube upload of the game's trailer has 67 Likes to 124 Dislikes (Update: 225 Likes/583 Dislikes), and comments of outrage are pouring in. Sony's been accused of destroying its product, and wasting time that could have been spent on a Golden Abyss sequel. You already know what we did. Yep, we put our special JOURNALISM hats on and culled the very best comments from the video, displayed below for your sexual pleasure. Enjoy!

A reader sent us this image and at first, I didn't quite recognize the world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris. And when I did, I had no idea why I had it in my inbox. I get a lot of bizarre things, everything from Chinese publishers wanting me to test their new Android game to political newsletters (don't ask me how we get on certain mailing lists), so I wasn't surprised...but I was confused. However, there was a link; it sent me to Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra's Twitter page, where it said:

GTTV overlord Geoff Keighley’s revealed that the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception trailer due to be shown off at tonight’s Spike Video Game Awards won’t be CG.
Quizzed about the footage on Twitter, Keighley replied, “I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what we show. Definitely not cg.”
Uncharted 3 was unveiled earlier this week via an exclusive scoop at Entertainment Weekly following months of speculation, though it won’t see the light of day until late 2011. Still, this hasn’t stopped a deluge of info and art seeping on to the web, with the sequel also due to get its first public demo on Monday.
The VGAs have had a cosy relationship with treasure hunter Nathan Drake over the years, with the rapturously received Uncharted 2: Among Thieves getting a full reveal at the event back in 2008 in the form of a gorgeous teaser – which developer Naughty Dog later confirmed was rendered in real-time.
The Spike 2010 Video Game Awards kick off tonight at 8pm ET/5pm PT/1am GMT. [SOURCE]

If there ever was a pitch perfect piece of has-to-happen casting, it would be Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake. Fillion is the dashing, charismatic star of the current television show Castle who is best known for his role as the cocky, confident Captain Malcolm ‘Mal’ Reynolds in Joss Whedon’s Firefly universe. Drake is the star of the Uncharted video game series (seen above), which is about a cocky, confident relic hunter in the mold of Indiana Jones, armed with a quicker tongue and a bigger penchant for violence.
Well, last week, after Three Kings director David O. Russell officially signed to rewrite and direct a big screen adaptation of the first Uncharted video game, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, for Sony, Fillion sent out the bat signal to his 650,000 or so Twitter followers to campaign that he get the role. Hit the jump for more.

Hey all you Uncharted fans out there! Can I get a holler?
*crickets chirping*
Congratulations, Australia, you just broke our hearts and made us suspicious of your taste in games - or possibly, lack of PlayStation 3s. For the six of you nervously raising your hands, you are awesome, and you'll be pleased to know that voice actress Emily Rose, who plays the spirited Elena in both Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves, has let slip something very exciting.
Now that we've lured you through that break we can tell you that we don't know precisely what it is, but we do know it exists, and here's the evidence. Rose, a busy Tweeter, dropped the following bomb yesterday:
