Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Lost Planet 2 playable.


September 11, 2009 - The Tokyo Game Show lineups from Japan's biggest publishers have been a bit ho-hum so far. But Sony stepped up with its lineup today and instantly got us excited for the big event. Sony's booth will have some major titles up for play. Final Fantasy XIII will appear there, in addition to its Square Enix booth appearance. It will be joined by other sure fire blockbusters like Gran Turismo 5 and Lost Planet 2.

The PSP section of Sony's booth will see first party titles like Gran Turismo and LocoRoco along with major third party games like Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Valkyria Chronicles 2. Sony will also have a PSN zone at its booth. This one has some surprises, including Square Enix's Thexder Neo and Crystal Defenders, both listed for the PSP in Sony's press release announcing its show plans. Sony also promises two as yet unannounced titles for the PS3, three unannounced titles for the PSP, and one unannounced title for the Game Archives retro download service. Sony will also be showing off the latest PlayStation services at the event, including PlayStation Home, the PlayStation Video Store, and its new comic delivery system for PSP. The company says to expect two additional services announced before the show.
