i know they've said very firmly that they like to keep the puzzles simple so as not to stop the flow, and i do agree that's a good strategy. the worst thing in the world is wanting to advance the story and getting stuck at a dead end wall of a puzzle. HOWEVER i would REALLY like the puzzles to be more than "read the answer in this book." i mean, is a goddamn block puzzle too much to ask for? :P
