Uncharted 3 PS3 pre-order sales gain at retailer

Pre-order sales for Sony Corp.’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception for the Playstation 3 increased this week at Amazon.com Inc. amid strong pre-release demand for the action sequel. This week, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception held a sales increase of 53 percent to rank at No. 391 in Amazon’s Video Games division.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be sold Nov. 11, 2011. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is said to include a brand new epic campaign mode in a search for the ‘Atlantis of the Sands’ to include locations like a derelict chateau in France, to the merciless Arabian Dessert.

The final game will include competitive and co-op multiplayer online functionality and stereoscopic 3D support. The previous title, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, has sold nearly eight million units worldwide.

• The PS3 is sold in a 160GB SKU at $299.99 and a 320GB SKU at $349.99.
• Playstation Move Console Bundle includes the PS3 320GB SKU, Playstation Move Controller, Playstation Eye, and Sports Champions at $399.99.
