October 8, 2009 - Naughty Dog just released some numbers for Uncharted 2 fans to chew on. With the multiplayer demo released to everyone last week, Co-president Even Wells posted online statistics the team has been keeping track of:
Total Number of games played – 1,217,424
Total Number of Kills – 92,110,787
Total Number of Treasures Captured – 1,860,645
Total Amount of Money Earned – $38,841,367,350
Total Time Played – 9,905 days (or 27+ years!)
Wells also says the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo is, unsurprisingly, the #1 of the top 5 first-week demo downloads, and is on its way to becoming the most downloaded demo on the PlayStation Store. Let's see what happens when the retail game hits store shelves next week!
